The Challenge

As a storyteller and journalist, Diana Jou's work is deeply personal. Every story she tells is shaped by curiosity, human connection, and a love for discovering beauty in everyday moments.

The challenge was to create a brand that felt as authentic as her storytelling. Rather than looking overly corporate or portfolio-driven, the identity needed to reflect her creative spirit—organic, exploratory, and deeply human. It also had to translate seamlessly across both her brand identity and website, creating a digital space that felt less like a résumé and more like an evolving collection of stories.

The solution

We crafted a visual identity that feels handcrafted, expressive, and full of character. A handwritten logotype brings warmth and personality, while painterly gouache-inspired textures and organic patterns evoke the feeling of sketchbooks, travel journals, and creative exploration.

The visual language embraces imperfection through layered compositions, rich textures, and tactile backgrounds, allowing the brand to feel lived-in rather than overly polished. Every element was intentionally designed to support Diana's work without overshadowing it, creating a timeless canvas where stories remain the hero.

That same philosophy carried into the website, where the brand's organic visual language extends into a clean, immersive digital experience.
